the story behind the name
Carlos Fernández’s story in Mallorca began twenty-one years ago, when he arrived on the island with a singular goal: to continue playing professional football at the highest level in Europe. As a young man with unbridled ambition, he pursued a dream that few achieve.
Carlos’s affinity for the number 13, his innate talent, and his striking resemblance to the famous French footballer David Trezeguet earned him the nickname TRECE. Driven by his passion, he vowed that when he became a company owner, he would call it Trece-Project.
As he immersed himself in Mallorca’s vibrant construction industry, Carlos discovered a new passion for architecture and civil engineering. In 2004, he began working as a construction assistant and worked his way up through the ranks, mastering every facet of the trade until he reached the pinnacle of the profession.
Determined to perfect his skills and knowledge, Carlos undertook rigorous studies in building engineering, architecture, and interior design, with the aim of reaching the exclusive level of luxury construction on the island.
Today, Trece Projects is the embodiment of Carlos’s vision and passion, built upon three fundamental pillars: experience, practice, and theory. As a testament to his hard work and dedication, Carlos is widely regarded as one of the most accomplished and innovative construction professionals in Mallorca.
